The Grand Finals of the ongoing BGMI esports tournament, BGIS 2024, will take place at Hall 4—Hitex Exhibition Center in Hyderabad. As previously reported, this final tournament stage will start on June 28 and conclude on June 30. The 16 qualified teams will compete to take home the biggest share of the INR 2 crore prize pool during these dates. These teams will be split into two groups and play 18 matches until the end. Tickets for the BGIS 2024 LAN Grand Finals started selling a little over a week ago. BGMI fans could buy two different tiers of tickets: General Admission and Elite Pass. The General Admission tickets were available for free and sold out for all three days within hours of availability. These allowed fans in the city to head to Hitex Exhibition Center with valid ID to watch the competition live.
On the other hand, Elite Pass aims to offer a premium experience to fans with premium seating, meals, exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with esports personalities, and unique merchandise. You can receive all these benefits for INR 5,000 per day. Krafton India noted that “all revenues generated from the sale of elite passes will be contributed to the Abhinav Bindra Foundation.” This donation will help Krafton assist the non-profit organisation in running its multiple projects aimed at traditional sports. These projects include the STEAM Scholarship, Athlete Mental Wellness, Sport4Her, Youth and Olympism, and more.
