A couple of match officials are out in the middle with their umbrellas, inspecting the extent of the damage the soggy outfield has sustained as they walk around.

Pakistan, with a 6-point deduction, are now 7th with 16 points from two wins and four losses. Bangladesh, having had a 3-point deduction, are placed 6th with 21 points from two wins and three losses in five matches. Looking ahead, Bangladesh have two away series remaining – a two-match assignment against India in September and another two-match series against the West Indies later in the year.
