Kavya Maran’s SunRisers Hyderabad had a rocking Indian Premier League 2024 with stellar performances throughout the season. The decision to opt for Pat Cummins as the franchise’s face proved too good, as he received a lot of love from the Indian audience and several other players.
The SRH team was a perfect blend of players from Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, and Heinrich Klaasen. Moreover, with such a tight knit bonding of the team; Kavya Maran has expressed her strong desire to retain the core unit for the 2025 edition of the tournament.
However, with Mega Auctions 2025 approaching, the number of players who can be retained has not been confirmed as of now.
Maran has argued that either each team should be able to retain at least six players or get the opportunity to buy them in the auction by the Right To Match (RTM) cards.
